Lookbook: Zara Studio S/S 2016
Spanish High Street giant has released their Studio collection for Spring 2016 to delight of everyone – except my pocket!
The collection is well rounded and has a clear point of view: again, textured, natural fabrics, relaxed silhouettes in neutral colours with a tailored bohemian feel.
I have shared my scepticism towards blazers here before. Double-breasted blazers however, have usually a better and easier fit, and they are super stylish, almost ubiquitous this season in all forms. This suit below is one of my favourite looks of the collection. I am seriously considering the cool cutout shoes.
The coat below is also a really good piece for just £99.99, and I like the effect of the different textures and check patters of the different pieces of the collection. The Bermuda shorts and waistcoat combination is interesting too, though I would be scared of looking like an Oliver Twist urchin.
Studio checked Bermuda shorts (£39.99) / Check waistcoat (£49.99)
Check trench coat (£99.99)
Linen shirt (£39.99)
Short sleeve shirt (£35.99)
Indigo and navy are also very present in the collection, as the counterpart to the earthy beige tones. Just take a look bellow at these nicely tailored blazers and trousers.
Navy blazer (£99.99) / Linen shirt (£39.99)
Short sleeve shirt (£35.99) / Darted trousers (£39.99)
Indigo blue Bermuda shorts (£39.99) / Indigo Blue Blazer (£99.99)
Short sleeve sweater (£29.99)
They can be very proud at Zara of what they have accomplished here. Cannot wait to check it all tomorrow.
