Travel: Madrid, 5th-7th February, 2016
I lived in Madrid for almost a decade before I moved to London in 2012 and now I rarely spend more than a few hours in between flights. The city has transformed yet again and I barely recognise some of the areas I used to hang out at back in the day.
Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit the city as a tourist and I had a blast. Dinner at Bosco de Lobos, drinks at the Oscar Hotel roof terrace, spending 5+ hours wandering the Prado Museum, watching the sunset behind the Royal Palace. We even run into a drag queen cabaret on Saturday! Madrid is still that fun hidden gem.
