Lookbook: Reiss 1971 A/W 2016

We start the weekend with fellow Spaniard Diego Barrueco as Reiss's new face for their Fall/Winter 2016 1971 collection.

It is small, comprised only a few selected jackets, tops and trousers, but what the collection lacks in numbers it makes up for in quality. Youthful, luxurious and with higher price-points (the leather biker jacket goes up to almost £600, very rare for a high-street brand), it is a concentrated of Reiss's base notes with a different scent.

Modern tailoring for the modern man, in the sleeker, sartorial way that is the staple of Reiss's as of recent.

I am really enjoying their printed shirts, and I think they are going to be my next investment, when I actually decide to go back to buying clothes after my resting period.

The collaboration between model and brand was also accompanied by an interview, though this has somehow, disappeared from Reiss's blog. Such a mystery.
